<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents the interior of the image forming apparatus from soiling by preventing leaking of liquid developer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 30 is composed including a developer supplying means 20. The developer supplying means 20 retains the liquid developer 22 and supplies the liquid developer 22. The developer supplying means 20 is provided with a reservoir section 23, an agitating section 24, a supporting section 25 and a driving section 26. The reservoir section 23 has an interior space formed and reserves the liquid developer 22 which is in a liquid state with solid components dispersed in the interior space. The liquid developer 22 contains carrier liquid in the liquid state and the solid components dispersed in the carrier liquid. The agitating section 24 is provided in the interior space and is able to agitate the liquid developer 22 which is reserved in the reservoir 23. The supporting section 25 is provided facing the interior space in the reservoir section 23 and supports the agitating section 24.
