LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel whose warpage is hardly generated even under conditions wherein changes of temperature and humidity are violent and which has excellent display characteristics and to provide a liquid crystal display.

SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal panel including a liquid crystal cell 10, a first polarizing plate 21 disposed on a principal surface on a viewing side of the liquid crystal cell 10 and a second polarizing plate 22 disposed on a principal surface on a side opposite to the viewing side of the liquid crystal cell 10, when swelling distortion represented by difference between a dimensional change rate under a condition of temperature 60°C and humidity 70% RH and a dimensional change rate under a condition of temperature 40°C and humidity 10% RH of the first polarizing plate is defined as ε1and when swelling distortion represented by difference between a dimensional change rate under a condition of 60°C temperature and 70% RH humidity and a dimensional change rate under a condition of 40°C temperature and humidity 30% RH of the second polarizing plate is defined as ε2, an absolute value Δε=¾ε1-ε2¾ of the difference of the swelling distortion is 35 ppm or below.
