<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interconnect communication terminals with each other by performing media conversion while identifying communication media being adopted to transmission source and destination communication terminals between the communication terminals performing media communication. <P>SOLUTION: A media conversion system includes: a means for storing information on corresponding communication media by network; a means for identifying, when a call control signal is given from a communication terminal, the communication media being adopted for the communication terminal on the basis of a network to which the communication terminal belongs; a data receiving means for receiving data from communication terminals; a means for converting reception data into media data corresponding to communication media being adopted in a second communication terminal, in accordance with the identified communication media, if the reception data are media data transmitted from a first communication terminal to the second communication terminal; and a means for transmitting the converted media data toward the second communication terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
