<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical proximity sensor capable of further accurately detecting an object. <P>SOLUTION: This optical proximity sensor comprises: a light emitting element 2 converting an electric signal to an optical signal to be output; a light reception element 3 converting an optical signal to an electric signal; a substrate 1 mounted with the light emitting element 2 and the light reception element 3; a plurality of primary mold resin parts 5a, 5b for individually resin-sealing the light emitting element 2 and the light reception element 3; and a secondary mold resin part 5c covering surfaces of the primary mold resin parts 5a, 5b. A recessed part capable of arranging the light emitting element 2 and the light reception element 3 therein is formed on a die used in forming the primary mold resin parts 5a, 5b, and a primary mold resin is injected into the recessed part from the extension of a virtual line connecting the light emitting element 2 to the light reception element 3 in injecting the primary mold resin into the recessed part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
