<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body towel to be used for bathing, the back washing function of which is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The body towel has a swelled portion (a touching part) which is formed by mounting or incorporating a columnar body, a cylindrical body, or a tube with a radius being sufficiently smaller than the curvature radius of a recess on a pocket, which is made of the same fabric or the like by sewing or the like and attached to the center of the body towel with respect to the recess at the center part (the vicinity of a spinal cord) of the back.
