<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an imaging element capable of satisfying all of color reproducibility, sensitivity and resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging element includes: a photoelectric conversion element 201 having a plurality of light receiving parts; and a color filter 202 on which filters of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) wavelength regions are arranged corresponding to the plurality of light receiving parts formed on the light receiving surface of the photoelectric conversion element 201 and is configured such that R, G and B pixels each of which is composed of a light receiving part and a filter are two-dimensionally arrayed. The imaging element includes also means (SWS elements or dichroic elements) 203 for transferring light of a wavelength region other than light of a green wavelength region made incident on a G pixel and light of a blue wavelength region, and light of a wavelength region other than a blue wavelength region made incident on a B pixel and light of a green wavelength region to a nearby R pixel. Since much light can enter the R pixels, sensitivity can be improved. Further since light of an IR wavelength region which may be mixed into the G pixels or the B pixels can be removed, color reproducibility and resolution can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
