PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear grinder capable of improving maintainability and miniaturization. SOLUTION: The gear grinder grinds a workpiece W by rotating a threaded grindstone 17 and the workpiece W while they are engaged with each other. A disk dresser 66 which rotates to drive for dressing the grindstone 17 is turned around a C2 axis parallel to a C1 axis serving as a workpiece rotation axis of the workpiece W and orthogonal to a feeding direction of the grindstone 17 to the workpiece W between a dressing position P2 where the threaded grindstone 17 can be dressed and a retreat position P1 where it retreats from the dressing position P2 during the grinding.
