PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw away chip which has a high clamp force and can prevent the displacement of a cutting edge. SOLUTION: The ceramic throw away chip 1 is mounted on a chip attaching seat 11 at an end of a holder 10 and has a tapped hole 7 for inserting a fastening screw 13 at a center.
