<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk using an organic dye whose optical characteristics after recording is nearly the same as that of a read-only optical disk, for a recording layer. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk includes a first substrate 2 having a track comprising a recessed part 2A and a projecting part 2B formed on one surface thereof, a reflection layer 3 and a recording layer 4 sequentially layered on the one surface and a light transmissible second substrate 6 fixed to the one surface side by an adhesive 7. In the optical disk, when recording information into the recording layer 4 of the projecting part 2B or reproducing information recorded into the recording layer of the projecting part 2B with irradiation of laser beam from the second substrate 6 side, an output value of a push-pull signal is 0.15 to 0.21 and the reflectance of the projecting part 2B is 50% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
