The present invention relates to a thermostable copolymer material having flame-retardant behaviour, and comprising silsesquioxane groups, and it is obtained through a copolymerisation reaction between: at least a first reagent, selected from organic oligomers and monomers having functional groups that are precursors of thermostable polymers, at least a hybrid oligomer, selected from silsesquioxane oligomers having functional groups that are precursors of thermostable polymers, optionally in the presence of at least a coadjuvant additive which promotes or permits control of the reaction between the functional groups of the first reagent and the functional groups of the hybrid oligomer and, optionally, in the presence of at least one flame-retardant additive, which does not take part in the reaction, and by virtue of the said copolymer material comprising chemical bonds between the functional groups of the first reagent and the functional groups of the hybrid oligomer, to the procedure for the obtainment thereof and to the use thereof as material having flame-retardant behaviour, together with other industrial applications. |
