<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal and a radio communication method, for reducing delay by decoding processing and power consumption by controlling the number of repetition times of a decoder without deteriorating decoding characteristics, while restraining the power consumption according to the remaining amount of power that can be supplied to an own terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal (100), which has the decoder (120) for repeatedly decoding a reception signal including an error correction code, includes: a detection section (170) for detecting the remaining amount of power that can be supplied to the own terminal; and a control section (130) for controlling the number of repetition times of decoding in the decoder (120) according to the detected, remaining amount of power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
