<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound oxide which has high performance of cleaning exhaust gas and a perovskite structure. <P>SOLUTION: The compound oxide having the perovskite crystal structure, which is shown by general formula: LaMn<SB>x</SB>Fe<SB>y</SB>Pd<SB>z</SB>O<SB>3-δ</SB>(wherein x is a number satisfying 0.41<x<1; y is a number satisfying 0≤y<0.4; z is a number satisfying 0<z<0.5; x+y+z=1; δ is an oxygen defect), is used as a catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
