<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit to be applied to a heat pump type air conditioner and capable of sufficiently heating a portion desired not to be actually frozen in a casing or a fan. <P>SOLUTION: The outdoor unit 1 is for a heat pump type air conditioner equipped with the casing 2 housing a compressor 12, the fan 7, and a heat exchanger 10. In at least one parts of the casing 2 and the fan 7, a conductive coating 23 is applied, and an electrode 26 is arranged. It includes an outside air temperature detection part 18 detecting an outside air temperature, and a control part 8 controlling a current passing through the electrode 26. In the control part 8, if the outside air temperature detected by the outside air temperature detection part 18 is a first temperature Ta for outside air temperature determination or less, a current is passed through the electrode 26, and if the outside air temperature detected by the outside air temperature detection part 18 is a second temperature Tb for outside air temperature determination higher than the first temperature Ta for outside air temperature determination or higher, passing of the current through the electrode 26 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
