<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing of a plurality of copies more efficiently than a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: The order in which bands are deleted is defined beforehand according to a band importance table. When the free space D of a hard disk 106 after storing a new printer command in a certain band is not larger than a threshold, printer commands stored in the hard disk 106 are deleted in units of bands in accordance with the defined band importance. When the free space D of the hard disk 106 becomes larger than the threshold, new printer commands are stored in units of bands into the hard disk 106.
