<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag body posture correcting machine correcting a seam of a bag mouth part in a predetermined position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bag body posture correcting machine consists of a pair of shafts 21 to be inserted in a mouth part 2 of a bag 1 with the mouth part 2 being erected. The shafts 21 are freely openable and closable, and turnable, and turns the mouth part 2 based on the command signal while the shafts 21 are inserted in the mouth part 2, and the mouth part 2 is expanded, and a seam 1b of the bag 1 is set to the predetermined position. The measured positional information of the seam 1b is compared with the reference positional data, and as a result of comparison, when any positional deviation L<SB>1</SB>is calculated, the command signal for correcting the positional deviation is transmitted from a computer to a motor 25, and the shafts 21 are adequately driven, the mouth part 2 of the bag 1 is turned, and the seam 1b of the bag 1 is corrected in an adequate position.
