<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom device for automatically performing zooming and pan tilt, etc., so as for all persons displayed on the monitor of a room master set to be optimally displayed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The intercom device includes: an entrance slave set incorporating a camera having a lens for wide-angle imaging; the monitor connected to the entrance slave set so as to perform communications, and displaying an image imaged by the camera; and a room master set having a CPU to perform electronic zoom control with respect to the image. The intercom master set includes: a person detecting part for detecting a person displayed on the monitor; and a coordinate detecting part for specifying a position of the person detected by the person detecting part on the screen. The CPU performs control to change the size and position of the person to be displayed on the monitor, based on the coordinate information of the person detected by the coordinate detecting part.
