<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a zeolite containing rhodium with a small particle diameter supported in satisfactorily dispersible manner, even when the supported amount of the rhodium exceeds 1 wt.%, and also, a method of manufacturing a zeolite containing rhodium with a small particle diameter supported in a cluster fashion, when the zeolite is of a comparatively smaller surface area like ZSM-5. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This zeolite is manufactured by including at least one of templating agents selected from the group consisting of a water-soluble rhodium salt, a tetraethylammonium source and a tetrapropylammonium source, as well as the zeolite.
