<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit design assisting apparatus, capable of accurately setting a label to be used in a check step to a network within a complicate circuit in a short time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The circuit design assisting apparatus includes: a parameter file acquisition part 11 which acquires label setting information in which configuration information indicating a partial configuration of a design-target circuit by information about elements and wiring between elements is associated with a label; a layout selection part 12 which selects a configuration matched to the configuration information in the acquired label setting information from a layout database 30 holding information about the elements used in the design-target circuit and the wiring between the elements; and a label setting part 13 which sets the label associated with the configuration information to the configuration selected by the layout selection part 12.
