<p>The invention relates to an operating device for selecting switching steps in a shift-by-wire gearbox. The operating device comprises a selector lever (3) which may be moved between at least a drive position and a park position with stable selector lever positions and a ratchet device with a spring loaded index pin (10) and index gate (9). According to the invention, the operating device is characterised by an actuator device for moving the selector lever (3), wherein the actuator device comprises a disengagement device (13). The index pin (10) and index gate (9) are moved from a first relative position by the disengagement device (13), in which the index pin (10) engages in a selector track (8) on the index gate (9), into a further relative position, in which the index pin (10) is not engaged with the selector track (8). The invention permits a simple and sure automated return of the selector lever into the park position and provides the driver with a reliable optical and tactile signal of the current state of the gearbox.</p> |
