<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a belt which is hardly extended and suppressed in change in a circumferential length. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the belt includes a heat treatment process of retaining a seamless base body without a seam formed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin at a heat treatment temperature (Te1) expressed by a relation (1) while extending the base body in a tensed state so as to apply circumferential tension thereto: Tg≤Te1≤Ts (1). In the relation, Tg denotes glass transition point of the thermoplastic resin, Te1 denotes a heat treatment temperature and Ts denotes a softening point of the thermoplastic resin.
