摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the center position of the iris of a person with high accuracy in an image obtained by imaging a person and to measure the line-of-sight direction with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A line-of-sight direction computing section 29 calculates a line-of-sight direction in an input face image of the person by performing predetermined arithmetic processing based on iris shape data output from an iris detecting section 25 and face direction measurement data output from a face direction measuring section 27. The line-of-sight direction of the face image of the person can be measured based on highly accurate iris shape information obtained by an iris shape detecting unit 19.
