PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepladder with a high added value that can fulfill a further additional function to a conventional function of a top plate. SOLUTION: A leg 11 has a pair of poles 21 extending with a space to each other. A plurality of steps 22 are laid across both poles 21 and fixed. A tool box 23 is laid across and fixed on a level, higher than the uppermost step 22, of both poles 21. The tool box 23 comprises a box body 41 fixed to both poles 21 and having an opening O opened in at least one direction out of upward, downward and sideward directions, and a cover 42 put over the opening O of the box body 41.
