A method, terminal and network system for processing the service guide information are provided. The method includes: receiving the service guide information distributed from the network side; and filtering the service guide information according to the user preference information presetted in the terminal. A terminal is provided in the embodiment of the invention, which includes: a receiving unit for receiving the service guide information distributed from the network side; a storage unit for storing the user preference information; and a filtering unit for filtering the service guide information according to the user preference information presetted in the storage unit. A network system is also provided in the embodiment of the invention. With the technical solution provided by the embodiment of the invention, the processing flow can be simplified, and the workload of processing the user information by the network side is reduced.
