NON-DIFFUSING PLANT VIRUS VECTOR

摘要

The issue is to provide a novel non-diffusing plant virus vector that is capable of viral vector infection and proliferation only in recombinant plants into which genes necessary for viral proliferation have been transduced and with which unintended recombinant viral diffusion can be avoided, and to provide a selective/specific expression system and an expression method therefor. A non-diffusing plant virus vector wherein a gene pertaining to intercellular migration in the cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) genome has been omitted and a transformed plant into which the omitted intercellular migration gene has been transduced are combined, and selective/specific infection and proliferation of the non-diffusing plant virus vector in the transformed plant is established.
