Provided is an electron irradiation apparatus for performing uniform electron irradiation of a flat portion to be irradiated in a certain direction. A DC power supply (1) of 6V dry battery is connected to a DC high-voltage device (2), and the power supply voltage of 6V is boosted to -5500V by the DC high-voltage device (2). A negative polarity output terminal (3) of the DC high-voltage device (2) is connected to a cathode electrode (5), and a positive polarity output terminal (6) of the DC high-voltage device (2) is connected to an anode electrode (7). A dielectric sheet (4) having an appropriate relative dielectric constant and a certain range of volume resistivity is adhered to the surface of the cathode electrode (5) facing the anode electrode (7). The dielectric sheet (4) is a polyurethane rubber sheet. The cathode electrode (5) and the dielectric sheet (4) are adhered to each other to constitute a DC dielectric barrier discharge electrode (9). The drive power supply (1) and the DC high-voltage device (2) are disposed on the upper surface of a belt-like wearing member (15), and the discharge electrode (9) and the anode electrode (7) are disposed on the lower surface thereof. When the wearing member (15) is wrapped around an affected part of a patient, the electrodes (9, 7) face each other with the affect part sandwiched therebetween. |
