The method involves positioning a thread guide element (1) at a feed side (E) before a partially formed warp thread receptacle (B), in a technically controlled manner. Another thread guide element (2) at a discharge side (A) is positioned after the receptacle, in a technically controlled manner. The elements are positioned based on formation of the receptacle. Additional weft threads (S) fixed to fabric at associated edges of the receptacle are held by the elements, in a technically weaved manner. The additional weft threads are outspread in the receptacle.
