DECORATIVE CAN BODY AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A seamless can or the like which is important as a container for beverages or foods is increased in commercial value by imparting a shining decoration having an excellent specular gloss to the outer surface of the barrel of the can body.  Provided is a decorative can body which has a metal foil or vapor-deposited metal layer disposed on the outer surface of the can barrel through an adhesive layer and further has a printed film superposed thereover.  The adhesive layer was formed from a thermosetting resin adhesive containing an internally blocked hardener and generating no by-product gas during heat curing.  This decorative can body has an excellent specular gloss.
