The invention particularly relates to a wireless communication device for an aircraft that comprises at least one antenna (355), e.g. a wide-band antenna, and a transparent multilayered substrate (300), advantageously a side glazing, a front glazing or a porthole of said aircraft, adapted for receiving said at least one antenna. At least a portion of one layer (320) of said substrate is at least partially reflective to electromagnetic waves transmitted or received by said at least one antenna, wherein said at least one portion of the layer of said substrate is located at least partially opposite said at least one antenna. According to a preferred embodiment, said at least one portion of the layer of said substrate is a de-icing or defogging heating film. |
