The method involves enabling a microcontroller (4) of a control device (1) to access modules for conversion and prioritization of steering moment recommendation. An upstream, central module is provided to carry out plausibility and a prioritization of the steering moment recommendation. The plausibility steering moment recommendation with a highest priority is delivered to a central downstream module for conversion of the steering moment recommendation. The modules are implemented both in software and in hardware by field programmable gate arrays. An independent claim is also included for a control device for conversion of steering moment recommendation.
