<p>Provided is an evaluation method for evaluating the characteristic of a differential transimpedance amplifier with high precision. Four terminals of a differential transimpedance amplifier (100) are respectively connected to four ports of a 4-port vector network analyzer (101). The S-parameter of the differential transimpedance amplifier (100) is measured by the 4-port vector network analyzer (101). The differential-mode S-parameter SDD is calculated on the basis of the measured S-parameter. The differential-mode Z-parameter ZDD is calculated by using the calculated differential-mode S-parameter SDD. The transimpedance characteristic ZT of the differential transimpedance amplifier (100) is calculated by using the calculated differential-mode Z-parameter ZDD.</p> |
