<p>Pet leash assemblies include a tether and gated clasp, including a body, a gate hinged to the body, and a biasing member pivotally biasing the gated clasp to a closed configuration. The gate may include a projection extending away from the body, when urged toward a terminal region of the body, the gate is pivoted against a biasing member and the gated clasp is opened, in which a collar coupling ring may be inserted into passage between the gate and the body. The clasp may include a sliding actuator with a gate-engagement surface positioned to engage and pivot the gate against its bias when the actuator moves toward the gate. A collar-engagement member extends through the second passage, and a biasing member is engaged with the body and collar-engagement member and is configured to urge the collar-engagement member toward an opposing side of the second passage.</p> |
