A dichroic filter array (4) is arranged on an incident plane (11). Either one or both of the two ends in the thickness direction of a light guide plate (1) are divided in the W direction by cut-out grooves (5) to form a plurality of light guide paths (6).  The positions of the light guide paths (6) on the incident plane (11) side are aligned with the positions of dichroic filters (31) which are the elements in the dichroic filter array (4).
