<p>A first radio transceiver is operated in a way that it performs the following steps: scanning a frequency band having a plurality of channels, assessing the channels of the frequency band to determine non-occupied channels, checking, whether at least one first beacon transmitted by a second radio transceiver is present in the frequency band indicating, whether at least one non-occupied channel is present, transmitting a second beacon indicating,whether at least one non-occupied channel is present, if no first beacon was found in the scanned frequency band, and determining at least one channel for communication if at least one first beacon is found in the scanned frequency band.</p> |
