<p>An electrical connector assembly comprising a first and a second connector. The first connector comprises a protection wall (46) protecting a contact (30), such as a power contact. The protection wall comprises an aperture (50) dimensioned to let the front part (34; 36) of the contact (30) pass through when the protection wall is in an in-use position. The aperture is located in front of the contact when the protection wall is locked in a protection position. The protection position of the protection wall can be unlocked position only when a counterpart connector is being plugged with said electrical connector. The protection wall is moved from the protection position to the in-use position and vice-versa when the counterpart is plugged, reciprocally un-plugged, with said connector. The power contact is not accessible when the counter is plugged with or unplugged from said connector.</p>
