X-RAY CT IMAGE FORMATION METHOD AND X-RAY CT DEVICE USING SAME

In order to provide a CT image formation method capable of reducing artifacts arising from image reconstruction methods as well as an X-ray CT device using said method, the X-ray CT image formation method of the present invention is a method in which a reconstructed image of a tested region of a subject is acquired by performing image reconstruction of projection data acquired through a CT scan, wherein artifact components arising from the image reconstruction method of said projection data are obtained through calculations, the obtained artifact components are subtracted from said projection data to create corrected projection data containing reverse-artifact components, and a reconstructed image in which the artifacts have been reduced by performing image reconstruction of the corrected projection data is acquired. Furthermore, said reverse-artifact components are obtained as differences between the projection data and reprojection data acquired by reverse-projecting a reconstructed image acquired by reconstructing the projection data.
