<p>Sculpturing is by "etching" a compsn. of natural polyamide from a mixture of it with a resistant synthetic fibre, using a paste contg. an alkali. Specif. it is heated with an alkali under moist conditions to induce hydrolytic degradation in only the areas where the paste is applied. Pref. resistant fibre is a polyester.</p> |
