<p>A small-sized aluminum wire joining terminal used to easily join an aluminum wire to a wire joining sleeve to which a resin-coated wire is joined. The aluminum wire joining terminal (10) comprises a covering part (11) which covers the peripheral surface of the aluminum core end (31) of the aluminum wire (30) and which is brazed to the peripheral surface and an insertion part (12) which is formed integrally with the covering part and inserted into the wire joining sleeve (20). Only the aluminum core end is covered by the covering part and electrically and mechanically joined to the covering part. The insertion part serving as a male joint is inserted and crimped into the insertion hole (22), which serves as a female joint, of the wire joining sleeve (20) attached to the core end (41) of the resin-coated wire (40). Since the aluminum core end is covered by the covering part and merely crimped to such a degree that does not fall, the aluminum core end is not collapsed and pulled apart and, therefore, the resin-coated wire is not damaged during the brazing.</p> |
