ADVERTISING METHOD AND SYSTEM ADAPTIVE TO DATA BROADCAST

Disclosed are an advertising method and a system adaptive to data broadcast.  The advertisement method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a broadcast request signal from a VOD terminal to which a data broadcast is to be downloaded; receiving an advertisement request signal from a mobile communication terminal to which an advertisement broadcast containing information for the product associated with the content of the data broadcast is to be downloaded; synchronizing the data broadcast and the advertisement broadcast such that the advertisement broadcast screen matched to the data broadcast screen is displayed onto the mobile communication terminal when the data broadcast is played on the VOD terminal; transmitting the data broadcast to the VOD terminal; and transmitting the advertisement broadcast to the mobile communication terminal. The advertisement method and system adaptive to a data broadcast according to the present invention enable a user (a consumer) of a mobile communication terminal to easily acquire information on the product provided through the data broadcast, thereby improving the effect of the advertisement.
