A boot for a constant velocity universal joint, in which the outer surface (35a) of a connection section (35) provided at an end on the small-diameter section (10) side of a bellows section (30) is formed in a circular arc shape, the curvature radius (Ra) of the circular arc is set greater than the curvature radius (R1) of the outer surface of a crest (31a) of the bellows section (30), and the wall thickness of the connection section (35) is set greater than the wall thickness of the connection section (35) at the end of its large-diameter section (20). The construction increases the fatigue strength of the boot, particularly the fatigue strength at the boundary between the small-diameter section and the bellows section.
