<p>A method for navigating television program is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: obtaining channel key frame information; storing the channel key frame information; when receiving a key frame request, delivering the channel key frame to make a terminal to display the channel key frame on a display device. A corresponding television program navigation system is also provided. Because the technical solution of the present invention adopts extracting the channel key frame and displaying the channel key frame for navigating the television program, the terminal need not to access synchronously one or more unwatched channels to intercept video data. The required bandwidth requirement is low when performing navigation on television channels by using the present invention; the embodiments can be realized only by adding key frame extraction and storage devices, so that the modification of the terminal is little, and the requirement of calculation ability is low.</p> |
