A damper spring device (60) is provided with first springs (63) and second springs (67), and each second spring (67) is held by a stopper (80) while being compressed by a preload.  The preload to each second spring (67) is greater than a mounting load of each first spring (63).  The first spring (63) and the second spring (67) have load-deflection characteristics adapted such that, when an axial load acting on the first spring (63) in the direction of compression thereof is not more than a load by which at least portions of the wire (63a) of the first spring (63) make close contact with each other, only the first spring (63) deflects and, when the axial load increases to a level greater than the load by which the at least portions of the wire (63a) of the first spring (63) make close contact with each other, both the first spring (63) and the second spring (67) deflect.
