A suction nozzle and a vacuum cleaner having the suction nozzle are diclosed. A suction nozzle according to an examplary embodiment of the invention includes an external casing which comprises at least one suction port for drawing in dirt or dust from a surface being cleaned and a mounting chamber adjacent to the suction port; and, an injection assembly which is detachably attached to the mounting chamber and injects a surface-improving material onto a surface being cleaned using a suction force.
