DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A display device is provided to reduce thickness of a lens unit and an electro-optical unit. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(101) with a plurality of pixels forms an image. A lens unit(105) is arranged on the upper portion of the display panel. The lens unit changes an image emitted from the display panel to a three-dimensional image. An electro-optic unit(103) is arranged between the display panel and the lens unit. The electro-optical unit is driven so that a refractive index is gradually changed according to a location. The electro-optical unit including an ectro-optical material forms a variable lens structure. According to mode of the electro-optical unit, two-dimensional and three-dimensional images are selectively displayed.
