STEEL PIPE FOR AUTOMOBILE PARTS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A steel pipe for vehicle components and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily mold a high intensity steel pipe to various shapes by molding a steel pipe in high temperature with good ductility with a press hardening method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a steel pipe for vehicle components comprises the following: preparing a steel sheet containing one or more components selected from a group consisting of boron, chrome, molybdenum, vanadium and nickel(ST10); forming the steel pipe by shaping the steel pipe(ST20); heating the steel pipe with the temperature corresponding to an austenite area(ST30); transferring the steel pipe with a press mold(ST40); cooling the steel pipe in the press mold; and molding the steel pipe according to a longitudinal direction(ST50).
