PURPOSE: An ultrasonic washer for a tire mold and a method thereof are provided to cleanly wash a small part, such as a groove or an air hole, by spraying a tire mold with air and cleaning the tire mold twice using water and ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic washer for a tire mold is composed of a first washer(10), a second washer, and an air gun(30). The first and second washers are vibrated at 20~40KHZ in vibrating units(13) and connected to a controller(11). The first washer comprises a washing tank(12) and heaters(14). Water and a water-soluble detergent are mixed in the washing tank at a rate of 7:3. The washing tank washes a tire mold(15) using the mixed liquid. The heaters are installed inside of the washing tank. The second washer washes the tire mold a second time. The air gun removes water and foreign materials by spraying air on the tire mold.
