PURPOSE: A power supply system, a server, a power supply method, and a computer readable recording medium are provided to effectively save PoE electric power through deciding the PoE power supply by controlling LAN switch in PoE server. CONSTITUTION: The PoE(Power-over-Ethernet) switch(1) processes data transmission function through LAN(Local Area Network) cables between the PoE server(3) and devices. The PoE switch is connected to the PoE server. The PoE server commands turn-on or turn-off instructions of the PoE power supply on a port-by-port basis to the PoE switch. The PoE server stores the configuration for the PoE control of the PoE switch. The management terminal(4) is used for the operation/management operation about the PoE server or task.
