PURPOSE: A brass alloy with superior corrosion resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve corrosion resistance by using existing scraps without adding arsenic(As). CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of the brass alloy comprises following steps: charging and welding brass scrap, zinc, tin, aluminum, lead, and phosphorus into a melting furnace; removing impurity such as non-metal inclusion which is slag after maintaining the temperature of a melting furnace for 10mins; and tapping melting alloy with a billet or an ingot type by maintaining the temperature of a melting furnace at 1000°C. |
