LUT-BASED PARALLEL MULTIPLICATION OF DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM

PURPOSE: An LUT(Look Up Table)-based parallel multiplication method of a discrete wavelet transformer is provided to perform a multiplication operation of the discrete wavelet transformer as a parallel multiplication using an LUT, thereby increasing the processing performance of the transformer. CONSTITUTION: During a convolution type using a discrete wavelet transformation, a multiplication method of a filter operation is transformed into a multiplication type operation that usesof an input sample and all filter coefficients. Multiplication of the input sample and the filter coefficients is configured in a parallel multiplication type. A multiplication product with the filter coefficients is generated.
