PURPOSE: A method and a system for authenticating oneself using face recognition when accessing a program or a folder are provided to register people allowed to access a program and a folder and record histories of accessing people, thereby enhancing security. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs information including face information of the user after the user accesses a program or a folder(S110). Face recognition data of the accessing user is obtained(S120). Personal face recognition information previously saved in a database is read(S130). The obtained face recognition data is matched with the database to obtain accuracy(S140). If the accuracy belongs to a predefined reference range, the access of the user is authenticated. |
