PURPOSE: An inverter and a lamp driving device including the same are provided to reduce power consumption by turning on the corresponding switch if the current flows in one of first and second body diodes. CONSTITUTION: A first switch includes a first body diode(D1). A second switch includes a second body diode(D2). A transformer(140) includes a primary coil and a secondary coil. The primary coil generates a first current and a first voltage according to the switching operation of the first and second switches. A secondly coil has a preset turn ratio about the primary coil. A controller(100) controls the switching operation of the first and second switches.
